“When you’re forced to play the game, it pays to know the rules.”

- Zachary Geist - Founder and CEO of Student Loan Tutor

Since our founding in 2015 our team at Student Loan Tutor has provided a reputable consultation and full-service management process for Federal Student Loans that saves time and money and has effectively solved one of the largest consumer financial problems in the country.

Similar to having a trustworthy CPA navigate a difficult tax situation, our Tutors and Processing team ensure the least amount of educational expense legally possible and take care of all the paperwork and annual requirements for our clients so that they avoid the anxiety, hassle and penalties that are commonly associated with Federal Student Loan Repayment.

With a specialty in self-employed borrowers and physicians (over 50% of our clients nationwide are self-employed chiropractors), our clients benefit from an audit-proof, life-of-loan strategy that saves an average of $100,000 to $200,000 on graduate loans. No refinancing, no gimmicks, just by utilizing an expert understanding of the system.

Why Clients Love Us

curls

Saved me over $150,000 on my loans. They take the time to answer ALL your questions, and do almost every single part of the process FOR YOU, so you don’t have to stress out about making a small mistake that could cost you tons of money. I feel like they lifted a small elephant off my back. Thank you!"

Our Service Is Better Than Free

Consultation
We collect a $150 deposit for an hour long consultation with one of our Tutors. If we don’t save our clients money, they pay us nothing, meaning our services are better than free. Even if someone is doing everything perfectly, which is exceedingly rare, they have the relief of confirming it with a professional.

Our consultation process ensures that our clients
1) Understand all of their holistic options pertaining to their repayment.
2) Clearly identify where the least expensive and most appropriate strategy is.3) Are supported in getting that custom strategy put into place.

Follow-through

After the consultation our clients have the option of hiring us to do all of their paperwork and represent them to their Federal Servicers.

Our Annual Follow-Through Service ensure that our clients
1) Are always in the most beneficial financial scenario regardless of changes in their lives.
2) That all of their required paperwork is done on time and correctly.
3) That any beneficial changes in higher education reform are taken advantage of.

As of 2019 the nearest “competitor” to our comprehensive approach we have found charges $600 for a consultation alone and has no full service paperwork option for their clients.

“As of 2019 there are over 45 million borrowers with a combined debt of almost 1.7 trillion dollars and this debt is nearly impossible to have discharged in bankruptcy proceedings. Of the thousands of consultations we have provided nearly everyone we speak with is either avoiding their loans at great consequence or are drastically overpaying because of incomplete knowledge surrounding the laws and options that have evolved around this area of finance. It is irresponsible to put one of the most important pieces of your financial portfolio into the hands of a $12/hour federal servicer employee with no background in finance and no incentive to save you money. I highly recommend getting a professional second opinion and the support of a company you can trust.”
